I have many experiences, primarily revolving around full-stack software engineering, security engineering, and web development.
I love to knit. Not with yarn, but with the very threads of technology that propel humanity forward. Whether it be twisting machine learning with computer vision to develop advanced robots or intertwining PID algorithms with radionavigation to create UAVs, every experience was accompanied by the exhilaration of transforming a tangle of concepts into the lacework of a solution. It's a feeling that drove me to Computer Science, ready to explore the vast specializations and opportunities that lie before me while indulging myself in the hackathons and passion projects that define the CS student experience.
Developed features for Prism Central Security Dashboard, a tool for customers to manage/monitor Nutanix cluster security.
Designedand implemented a solution using Apache ZooKeeper to securely maintain consensus of system credentials across the cluster, minimizing the threat of ransomware attacks through default credentials.
Createda CircleCI Pipeline to automate the aggregation and deployment ofCVE data to the Security Dashboard, allowing consumers to monitor identifiedvulnerabilities and their patch status.
Redesigned and reimplemented Go API, used to communicate between the Security Dashboard and nodes, allowing for remote automated security scans and system configurations via gRPC.
Developed features in Go for PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), a data protection tool for virtual infrastructure.
Instrumented key components of the PPDM Kubernetes protection tool per OpenTelemetry spec. to enhance observability.
Collaborated with various development teams to research and define key performance metrics beneficial to both developers and end-users. Metrics were labeled and organized, collected by Prometheus, and visualized with Grafana.
Implemented distributed tracing in Kubernetes with Jaeger to aid in root cause analysis and latency optimization.
